"Virions" is a December 2020 391 & the Army of Astraea minimalist Three-Track Extended Play Single which addresses the emotional consequences of loss and isolation caused by severe viral pandemics of the past as well as hypothetical waves of disease in the future.

Inspired by a 2018 Nevekari Enterprises (www.nevekari.com) series, "The Immune" (www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecia4ml7E18), and other more dramatic instances of viral spread - such as Ebola and the Black Plague, (rather than Flu's with a 99.5% recovery rate), this release is intended to be the first in a series of recordings focusing on this theme.

In light of the overall Spatial / Stereophonic nature of the recordings, as well as the inclusion of certain Sub-Tonal elements throughout, the use of high-fidelity headphones as a listening medium is encouraged.
